According to BBC News, three out of four children have seen images on the internet that disturbed them, (NSPCC poll in UK).
“Children are just a few clicks away from innocently stumbling across upsetting or even dangerous pictures and films such as adult sex scenes, violent dog fights, people self-harming and children being assaulted,” said Zoe Hilton, NSPCC policy adviser.
Romanian online landscape if far more exposed and local publishers are not responsible at all – I’ve seen in the last weeks several examples of unethical behavior from major online publishers. Some of them, drag the brands into scandals and give the Internet a bad name.
