GMP Advertising launched a few days ago a website presenting a tunned Police Dacia Logan (70.000 EUR). This was part of a political campaign developed for the Romanian President Traian Basescu. Continue reading ‘LoganCPT.ro, viral seeding from GMP’

The Russian online market is interesting even for some Romanian entrepreneurs. Far more attractive than the western markets and not so much exposed to global risks
(just the usual energy/cold crises).
Here are some figures from an article I’ve read this Saturday, published by Lenta.ru:
- total marketing spend for the entire year will be between US$1.04 billion to $1.48 billion;
- Tagline market research predicted that by the end of 2008, media advertising is expected to receive ~$285 million – $390 million investments ;
- $320 million – $450 million – predictions for spent on contextual ads;
- SEM will receive ~$250 million – $400 million;
- web development market estimated between $160 million – $200 million.
- content production, online consultancy, oline PR and blogging will receive ~ $25 million – $35 million (source: Tagline).
- online marketing communications in Russia rising in 2008;
Tagline’s analysis was based on a research involving 600 companies (information acquired using direct interviews and open source intelligence). The funny thing is that the estimates are made in US dollars.
Reuters has a very interesting Internet coverage (I recommend reading):
- neuroscientists say that the Internet created a new social order;
- higher on the evolution scale are the individuals that combine the technical online abilities with emotional intelligence; on top in the next generation will be those with a mixture of technological and social skills – they are the next consumers for online media products;
- experienced Internet users showed double the activity in areas of the brain that control decision-making and complex reasoning as Internet beginners;

Adevolution (Val Voicu) published a post on his corporate blog and linked to a movie on YouTube. On the right side, on the Related Video section appeared only one link pointing to Cartel in internetul din Romania (published by Imagoo7).
Both movies use “adevolution” tag.
The second movie had a negative impact on Adevolution when it first appeared (few months ago) and suggests that Orlando Nicoara, Val Voicu and Mihai Fanache are part of a Romanian Internet cartel and that MediaPro Interactiv, Adevolution and MediaCafe are somehow connected.
I guess using YouTube for Adevolution’s corporate movie was not the best choice.
Since I have 300 readers subscribed to my rss feed (today) it’s for the first time I try to figure it out why people read my blog (I always try to stay out of fights and trivial content so my writing is probably very boring).
One possible explanation: the information I provided for my readers on 27th of August appeared in mainstream media on the 22nd of October and started several debates on Romanian blogs after almost 2 months.
They say that “business intelligence” is a term “that dates at least to 1958″ but I don’t think they had decision support systems back then…
